The application process begins when a prospect makes a formal petition for admission into the Maryknoll Formation program. The prospect may initiate this process only after a mutual agreement has been reached by the prospect, the Vocation Minister, the Mission Promoter and the Admissions

Director. When an agreement has been reached, the prospect will receive an application packet. This packet contains: an application form, a request for official transcripts, a request for Birth, Baptismal, and Confirmation certificates, and five recommendation forms which he is asked to distribute to selected people. He is also requested to acquire two passport-sized photos, sign a background check release form which is mailed to Maryknoll, New York and to undergo complete medical and dental exams.

Once this data is received by the Admissions Office, the schedule for Psychological Testing/Interview and a Comprehensive Assessment Interview is set.

An Admissions Board meeting to decide on final acceptance is held after all the documentation and procedures of the application process have been met.
